[we're still here]

I have an unfortunate ME and FMS combination that saps my energy and sometimes knocks me off my feet for a bit. I got stuck with a flare up early this year and have not been able to visit the shelter for my Wednesday mornings of helping out for some weeks now. I really miss going and am very frustrated that I am still not up to it, so I thought I would pick up with the blog again in the interim. I am hoping to get over to the shelter soon though because I want to see how I stand up to the slightly longer drive than I have been doing recently, and to have a cuppa and catch up with Sandy and the current furry residents. Of course, when I do go, I will take my camera :D

And speaking of my camera, I thought I would share these photos of Pippin that I took a couple of days ago. I can hardly believe he is about to turn six months! Of course, we didn't know his exact Birthday, but based on the vet's guesstimate, I decided to give Pip the same Birthday as my lovely late Grandfather: September 22nd.

As you can see, he is growing up fast - and generally, he is very fit and well, although we are still managing the worm problem and having to monitor that closely. He is great friends with big boy Cosmo and the two of them chase each other around the house playing 'tag' whenever possible. For the most part, Cookie shows mildly contemptuous tolerance of him, though occasionally he will still bop Pippin - just because he can and because he wants to make a point! Poor Pip is always startled by this but unperturbed in his efforts to sniff noses with Cookie and make friends :D

Shh, don't tell him but he is now booked in for his snip-n-chip on March 23rd... Should I take a before and after photo for the family album, do you think?!
